I used to use PAF through the Mormon church. Found lots of information for my family history. Now they want to charge a monthly fee... guess my days of family history search are over... time for fishing hobby.

The Church's genealogy site Family Search is free to everyone and there are no monthly fees.

I've happily used PAF since it came out back in the 80s, but my laptop was stolen and I'd like to find a copy to download to my new laptop. I can't seem to find the link here to download the program or anywhere else. Maybe it's just me and it's here somewhere??

I've used the PAF Program since it first came out, & love it. I've uploaded my FH GED file onto FamilySearch.org but still use my PAF program to fine individuals, & their notes etc. When you have over 18,000 individuals in a file it's easier to fine one person on PAF than search on FamilySearch for them.
